Music of the Greek Diaspora Performs at Athens Concert Hall

Four Greek composers who live abroad, Minas Borboudakis (Germany), John Psathas (New Zealand), Konstantinos Karavassilis (Canada) and Christos Hatzis (Canada) are
represented at a concert by four works, each one of which gives its own response to the matter of national origins and international music language. The works are “Σ-Κασσιόπεια” for solo percussion and the string orchestra of Minas Borboudakis, “Djinn”, concerto for solo marimba and the string orchestra of Konstantinos Karavasilis and “Arabesque” for solo violin, piano and the string orchestra of Christos Hatzis. The concert will take place on Sunday, the 13th at 20:30, at the Dimitris Mitropoulos Hall at the Athens Concert Hall.
