Greek Doctor Saves Lives of Children Suffering from Ocular Cancer

Greek scientist Doris Chatzistylianou offers the gift of God, i.e. life itself to her little patients suffering from retinoblastoma. Retinoblastoma is the most common ocular tumor in children occurring in 1/14,000 to 1/20,000 births. This kind of tumor if not treated promptly, can be fatal. The brilliant scientist applies revolutionary healing methods that not only eliminate ocular tumors before they penetrate through the optic nerve to the brain and become life-threatening, but saves the young patients from
the painful extraction of the eyeball.  Dr. Chatzistylianou performs her operations in the hospital of Siena and stands by her patients after the critical surgery. She also visits Greece every four months in order to examine her patients closely.  During the summer she even hosts them in her house on Tinos island. The brilliant scientist comes very close to her young patients and in many cases becomes their godmother. Undoubtedly, the fact that she is herself a mother makes it easier for her to understand the anxiety of children and parents when facing cancer.
