Iraklis's US guard Matt Bouldin tested positive for a banned substance last month and his career in Greece was cut short as a result, the Thessaloniki club announced on Monday. The first sample of the 22-year-old player contained 4-Methyl-2-Hexanamine, the same substance found a month earlier at the sample of Maroussi's Tony Widen, too.
The player maintains the right to have his
second sample from December 17 checked, but Iraklis confirmed yesterday that Bouldin is immediately replaced by former Lakers, Cavaliers, Clippers and Aris guard Smush Parker, who is set to arrive in Greece on Tuesday.
Iraklis are joint bottom of the A1 table, along with Ilisiakos.
