Olympiakos and Panathinaikos remain joint top of the A1 League after comfortable wins for both clubs on Saturday ahead of their first showdown of the season.
Playing behind closed doors at the Peace and Friendship Stadium, the Reds beat Kavala 81-60. Yiannis Bourousis led Olympiakos with 19 points.
Panathinaikos had an even more comfortable night, beating Ikaros Kallithea 91-62 away.
Stratos Perperoglou led the scoring with 17 points.
Both sides have a perfect record of 11 wins from 11 games, so something will have to give when they meet on Wednesday.
In Saturday's other games, Aris beat AEK 74-65 in Athens, Panellinios beat Kolossos Rhodes 71-58 at home and PAOK had a 69-60 win over Peristeri in Thessaloniki.
