132.000 illegal immigrants just for 2010

The Ministry of Protection of Citizens has given out analytic facts for all illegal immigrants and the people that transport them the past years. Only in 2010 there were 132.524 immigrants arrested and 1.150 people trying to pass them over the borders.
The numbers of previous years are similar, however if one thinks that the number of illegal immigrants that are arrested is the minority of those entering the country -since a larger one
enters the country without being caught- then it is safe to say hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants are still or have passed through greek soil.
