The Reds could secure their place in the quarterfinals with a win over Valencia in Spain next week.
Rasho Nesterovic paced the winners with 17 points on 8-of-10 two-point shooting as Olympiakos stamped their
authority on the game from the second quarter onwards.Vassilis Spanoulis added 14 points, Yiannis Bourousis had 11 and Theo Papaloukas tallied 8 points and 9 assists for the Reds.
Papaloukas also reached the landmark of 300 steals in Euroleague matches.
"I think that now that I am old, I do a better job thanks to my experience and not my quickness," he said after the game.
"I have said before that you have to take small risks in order to steal the ball. But at the end of the day what matters is not the total amount of steals, but the number of wins you have celebrated."
Olympiakos coach Dusan Ivkovic said he was pleased by his team's performance.
"As shown by the stats so far, Valencia is the best team in defense," he said.
"We played excellent, pressing the ball in the perimeter and forced them to make 21 turnovers. The assist-per-turnover ratio was very good for us tonight."
