'Rendezvous' at Afidnes tolls

The movement against tolls is reacting to the regulation that passes the unwillingness of payment as a
Driving Code violation, with a gathering at the toll station in Afidnes. Members of the movement announced that they will seek justice, considering the regulation as anti-constitutional.

The vice minister of Infrastructure Giannis Magriotis repeated on his statements that there will be significant reductions in fares to the unfinished parts of the highways and a general reduction.

Also, discounts will be provided for frequent passers, while there will be “brave allowances” for local communities with the electronic tolls. When all these things happen, soon, the reactions will be unthinkable, the vice minister added, stressing that the reduction in toll fares will burden both the consortiums and the state.
