was attacked at a tavern in the area of Kalives, by angry residents of Keratea who attacked him verbally and threw yoghurts at him.
It all started when Mr. Pangalos went to a tavern to speak with the Committee of residents of Keratea who strongly react against the creation of a landfill site. During the discussion, a group of residents has started to verbally attack Mr. Pangalos and one of the slogans was the famous 'we didn't 'ate' (the money) together'.
Some of the residents threw yogurts at Mr. Pangalos. Immediately the personal guard of Deputy Prime Minister intervened and took him to a safe place in the tavern. Almost instantly a riot squad police were outside the tavern .
