The Coalition party's (Synaspismos) press office termed Prime Minister George Papandreou, on the occasion of his address at the summit of Party of European Socialists (PES) leaders in Athens, the vanguard of the most extreme neo-liberal views.
The announcement said Papandreou "is the man who brought the IMF to the EU, he is the prime minister who will go down in history for his decisive contribution to the razing of the social state" while "the options of Mr. Papandreou never questioned the limits of the policy of the dominant European powers."
