The Import Price Index in Industry in February 2011 compared with February 2010 recorded a rise of 7.6%, said Hellenic Statistical Authority in a statement.
The index in February 2010 had recorded a rise of 7.9% compared with February 2009.
The MPI in February 2011 compared with January 2011 recorded a rise of 1.9%, while the index in February 2010 had recorded a rise of 0.4% compared with January 2010.
The twelve-month average index, from March 2010 to February 2011, compared with the same index of the period from February 2009 to February 2010, increased by 6.5%. The previous year the twelve-month average index had decreased by 0.2%.
