Greek state-owned Public Power Corporation announced on Wednesday that it has signed a strategic partnership with Chinese Sinovel Wing Group concerning the development of wind parks, with an indicative project being the construction of a 200-300 MW wind park in the interconnected system, as well as the construction of wind generators plant in Greece.
The agreement was signed by PPC president and CEO Arthuros Zervos and president and CEO of Sinovel Wind Energy Group Han Junliang, yesterday afternoon in Beijing, in the sidelines of State Minister’s Haris Pampoukis in the country.
This partnership combines the know-how and experience of PPC with that of Sinovel Wind Group, the leading company in Asia in wind generators construction and the 2nd largest in the world, in line with PPC΄s strategic goal to play a leading role in the development of Renewable Energy in Greece.
