Two Moroccan nationals, legally residing in Greece, were arrested in Karlovasi, on the island of Samos, for possession of counterfeit euro currency bills, police said on Tuesday.
The one detainee was arrested after 19 counterfeit 50-euro bills were found in his possession, while the second detainee had another 19 counterfeit 50-euro bills and 6.5 grams of cannabis in his possession.
The counterfeit money and drugs were seized, and the two detainees were taken before a local prosecutor.
