Prime minister opened a round of consultations with political party leaders on Tuesday with a meeting with main opposition New Democracy (ND) leader Antonis Samaras.

Next in line will be Popular Orthodox Rally (LAOS) leader George Karatzaferis at noon, and Coalition of the Radical Left (SYRIZA parliamentary alliance) parliamentary group leader Alexis Tsipras at 1:30.
He will further meet with the leaders of the non-parliamentary Democratic Alliance and Democratic Left party leaders Dora Bakoyannis and Fotis Kouvelis at 2:30 and 3:30, respectively.
Communist Party of Greece (KKE) leader Aleka Papariga has rejected Papandreou's invitation.
According to government sources, the focus of the talks is the Medium-Term Economic Program.
