Greece on Thursday met the conditions set by the eurozone to receive the next installment of its bailout after parliament voted for the implementation of austerity measures, the European Union said.
"We strongly welcome today's approval by the Greek parliament of the implementing legislation for the country's revised economic programme," EU president Herman Van Rompuy and European Commission chief Jose Manuel Barroso said in a joint statement.
