The 48th International Aegean Sailing Rally begins today (July 15) at Faliro Bay and is expected to finish at Cape Sounio on July 23.
The Aegean Rally - an annual event, organized by the Hellenic Offshore Racing Club (HORC) - is the oldest and most prestigious sailing regatta in Greece.
Since 1964, it has attracted competitors from around the world as well as top sailing teams in Greece.
This year’s regatta consists of a series of individual offshore races, between Faliro Bay and the Aegean islands of Amorgos, Samos, Oinousses and back to Cape Sounion.
