European Council President Herman Van Rompuy said a new bailout program for Greece and other "recent developments in the euro area" were discussed in a meeting Monday with European Central Bank President Jean-Claude Trichet, European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso, Luxembourg Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker and European Union economics commissioner Olli Rehn ahead of a meeting of euro-zone finance ministers in Brussels.
