Special Olympics Chairman Timothy Shriver on Friday praised Greeks for their commitment to the 13th Special Olympics World Summer Games which are being held in the Greek capital of Athens.
In a statement co-issued with Joanna Despotopoulou, the President of the Organizing Committee for the Special Olympics World Summer Games ATHENS 2011, Shriver said that "25000 Greeks have come together every day to join the Dignity Revolution, cheering for unity, working for unity, standing for unity. Sadly, the press has missed the story."
