Panathinaikos and Atromitos kept up the pace at the top of the Super League on Saturday as both Athenian sides won to maintain their joint-first position.
Panathinaikos scored an impressive 4-0 home win over Ergotelis while Atromitos beat PAS Yiannina 1-0 at home. The frontrunners have 13 points but Atromitos have played seven games to PAO's five.
At the Olympic Stadium, Ergotelis were no match for a Panathinaikos side driven on by in-form Sebastian Leto. The Argentinean scored two of the four goals - one a penalty.
Either side of his first strike, defender Jean-Alain Boumsong and midfielder Costas Katsouranis scored to give the Greens a 3-0 half-time lead before Leto's penalty rounded off the rout.
It was a more closely fought affair for Atromitos, who relied on a first-half goal from Costas Giannoulis to win the three points.
In Saturday's other game, Asteras Tripolis and Xanthi drew 1-1. A Leonidas Argyropoulos own goal gave the visitors the lead after just 22 seconds, but Asteras equalized through Ruben Rayos in the 28th minute.
The point moves Asteras, who have three points, off the bottom of the table. Xanthi have five points.
