Royal
Caribbean Cruises Ltd, one of the largest cruise companies in the world,
is about to invest in Greece, and information indicates that it has
selected the port of Heraklion.
The company intends to invest in port infrastructure, construction of a hotel and a conference centre.
Royal Caribbean Cruises had been targeting six Greek ports: Piraeus, Heraklion, Thessaloniki, Rhodes, Kos and Mykonos.
