Eurozone in flurry of talks to bolster financial firewall
Intense talks are underway between eurozone nations as the debt
crisis worsens to find ways of bolstering their financial firewall ahead
of a crunch European Union summit 48 hours away, diplomatic sources
said Tuesday.
One option under consideration is to temporarily
maintain two rescue funds to shield vulnerable nations instead of the
single bailout fund currently in existence, the European Financial
Stability Fund (EFSF), the sources added.
