Greece is ranked second last among EU countries in terms of action to tackle climate change, according to the annual Climate Change Performance Index issued by Germanwatch and Climate Action Network on Thursday.
Greece has dropped from 43rd to 47th in the world rankings and has low
performance in terms of restricting carbon emissions, while on a
national level it lacks a unified action plan for reducing CO2 emissions.
