A bomb exploded early Thursday in front of the Greek embassy in the Argentine capital, causing material damage but no injuries, police said.
A police spokesman told AFP the blast caused minor damage and that an investigation was under way.
The blast in Buenos Aires came just hours after a bomb exploded outside an Athens court, causing widespread damage but no injuries ahead of a trial of anarchists suspected of a parcel bomb campaign targeting embassies and foreign leaders.
The anarchist group Conspiracy of Fire Nuclei was held responsible for a wave of parcel bombings in November that targeted foreign embassies in Athens and European government leaders, including French President Nicolas Sarkozy, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.
Last week, stronger explosives were used in bombs that injured two people at the embassies of Switzerland and Chile in the Italian capital.
The Rome plot was claimed by an Italian anarchist group calling itself the Informal Federation of Anarchy, or FAI under its Italian acronym, which expressed its solidarity with jailed Greek suspected extremists.
Another parcel turned up at the Greek embassy in Rome on Monday but was deactivated before it could explode.
