Communist Party of Greece (KKE) leader Aleka Papariga on Friday made the following statement on the occasion of the arrival of the New Year.
"In 2011 we will do the best we can to help the popular front, the only hopeful message in the struggle, counter-attack and reversal, to become stronger."
Asked to comment on government Vice-President Theodoros Pangalos' statement charging
that "KKE is dreaming of a new Soviet Union", Papariga responded "What can someone say to such professional anti-communists?"ANA-MPA
