Minoan Lines cancels sale of Hellenic Seaways

Minoan Lines, a Greek-listed shipping company, on Friday announced the cancellation of the sale of a 33.35 percent of Hellenic Seaways to Anek, after the latter company failed to meet payment obligations expiring November 30, 2010.

 

 In an announcement, Minoan Lines said it would offer timely and detailed information to the public over any developments in the issue, while Anek said it would not pay a tranche to Minoan Lines and would offer detailed information to the public over its actions.
