Children's workshop: 'A Different Circus' at the Athens Concert Hall

The Athens Concert Hall is hosting A Different Circus, a children’s workshop inspired by the work of Alexander Calder, the American sculptor who founded the Cirque Calder.

Uniting sculpture and kinetic art, this performing event uses moving sculptures to acquaint children with the notions of balance, for m, movement and space, while allowing them to experiment with different materials. The workshop, which begins on January 14 and will last to February 23, is open to children aged 6-12. The event is co-organised with the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
