Crackdown on illegal parking in Athens

Municipal police officers have launched a crackdown on illegal parking in Athens, on orders from Giorgos Kaminis, the city’s new mayor. 
Offenders will be fined or have their registration plates removed.
Athens traffic police removed licence plates from 100 illegally parked cars on Monday.
