Djebbour tries to leave AEK

Algerian striker Raffik Djebbour resorted to the Greek federation last week, according to reports, claiming 1.2 million euros from AEK and asking for the termination of his contract with the club.
The news that broke on Thursday caught AEK by surprise, although Djebbour has been sidelined for a week after an incident with manager Manolo Jimenez.
The two men had a confrontation whose details have not been made known exactly, but one day later Jimenez stated that he is not going to use Djebbour again, threatening to go if the Algerian stayed.
Reports suggest Djebbour resorted to the federation day after the incident, using the pretext that AEK owe him 219,000 euros.
This would mark the stormy end of the AEK career for one of the side's most talented players at a time when the team has serious scoring problems.
Meanwhile, former Greece midfielder Christos Patsatzoglou left AEK after just six months at the club and joined second-division leaders PAS Yiannina.
"He had an exemplary behaviour," commented Jimenez, wishing him good luck.
