Protesting tobacco producers from the northwestern part of Fyrom on Wednesday set up a blockade at the Medzitlia border crossing that leads to the Niki crossing in Florina, in protest against the low prices offered by tobacco dealers in Fyrom.
The protestors, who closed off the crossing at noon (Greek time), said they intend to remain at the blockade until 7:00 p.m.
