Kallithea murder suspect charged

Police in Athens investigating the fatal shooting of a 35-year-old mother of two at her home in Kallithea, in front of her 4-year-old daughter, said yesterday that the 31-year-old cousin of the victim’s husband has been charged with her murder.
According to police, the suspect, who is mentally disturbed, rang the doorbell of the woman’s apartment last Tuesday before shooting her twice in the head. The 31-year-old, who
resides in the same building as the victim, is believed to have stolen the keys to the couple’s home after they complained about the noise emanating from his flat.
