Main opposition New Democracy party leader Antonis Samaras has addressed a letter to European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso in which he expresses his conviction that the issuance of eurobonds is the only exit from the debt crisis, not only for European Union member-states facing problems, but for the eurozone in its entirety.
In his letter, also conveyed to Euro group president Jean-Claude Juncker and EPP president Wilfried Martens, the ND leader stresses the need for the eurobond to be adopted as soon as possible by the EU as a means of supporting fiscal balance in the eurozone countries.
