PM to chair Cabinet meeting on Wednesday

Prime Minister George Papandreou will chair a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday that will focus on the closely watched issue of opening up so-called closed professions". Finance Minister Yiorgos Papakonstantinou is scheduled to unveil the government's initiatives on the issue. 

 

Agricultural Development Minister Kostas Skandalidis will also brief Cabinet ministers over a draft law concerning a comprehensive reform of Greece's numerous and often problematic agricultural cooperatives.
