Special Olympics Ηellas flag arrived in Finnish Lapland, announcing the Special Olympics World Games “Athens 2011″. The event will be held in Athens between June 25th to July 4th, 2011. Special Olympics volunteer Giannis Panayotopoulos carried the flag. The Greek alpinist travelled to Lapland to prepare himself for climbing Mt.Kilimanjaro, the SpecialOlympics Ηellas flag. Last year Giannis Panayotopoulos climbed Atlas mountain in Maroko, carrying once more the Special Olympics Ηellas flag.
