Debt-ridden Greece is offering a €1 million ($1.36 million) reward for the capture of a bank robber who twice escaped the same prison by chopper and has been accused of terrorism.
A police statement Wednesday guaranteed anonymity for anyone providing information leading to the arrest of 45-year-old Vassilis Paleokostas.
On Tuesday, authorities issued an arrest
warrant for murder and membership in a terrorist group against Paleokostas, on the run since his second helicopter escape from a maximum security Athens prison in 2009.

Police say Paleokostas' fingerprints were found on a parcel bomb that exploded in the public order ministry last summer, killing a ministerial aide.
