The Greek government has prepared a draft law for the upgrading and
restructuring of the Hellenic Civil Authority in order to meet international and European Union standards. Part of the draft law includes the plan to privatize 34 to 38 Greek regional airports.According to the plan, private companies will carry out the modernization and upgrading of these airports, and the management and operation of the facilities for the next several years.
