Kyriakopoulou breaks pole vault record

Nicole Kyriakopoulou broke the national indoor record in pole vault onb Saturday clearing 4.51 metres at a meeting in Germany.

The 24-year-old athlete of EAR Rethymno broke her own record from last year (4.50 m.) and had a shot at 4.61 m. as well, but without success.

Long-jumper Louis Tsatoumas confirmed his good form on Saturday as his
best effort at another meeting in Germany measured 8.08 metres. A week earlier he had reached 8.10 m.

At the same meeting, Costas Baniotis repeated his performance of a week earlier clearing 2.30 m. in high jump, equalling his personal best.
