The Prime Minister has decided that the changes needed must be implemented as soon as possible.
A very direct message was sent by the Prime Minister, towards the social and professional groups that are against the government’s measures.
Mr.Papandreou stated that “this is not the time for selfishness” and added that “we need to think of the common good over our own”. He also noted that the change of the country is filtered through a changed in perceiving the way society works.
The PM did not allow any doubt in reference to the changes he wants to implement immediately. He said the changes were “self-evident and unfortunately not implemented earlier” and that “we will make the changes even if it is inconvenient for some”.
