MP’s are calling on Papakonstantinou for the 50 bil. euros

Turmoil is prevailing in the PG of PASOK on the issue of privatization and «public sale shop»  which the government aims to put on public property. Members of PASOK and in particular members of the parliamentary financial sector expressed strong discontent for government operations and the lack of information.

They insist that it is impossible that a privatization program of 7bil euros to become suddenly and without any formal preparation, a mammoth 50bil program. They believe that in any case there must be substantial update of the PG of PASOK and convincing argument to proceed with any project.

Information at protothema.gr say that MPs are gathering signatures so that the economy team convenes immediately in order for minister Papakonstantinou to inform them analytically and responsibly on his intentions.

And they warn that no policy will pass without prior update of the MPs. Same information says that among the MPs that consider this a crucial issue are Paris Koukoulopoulos, Tonia Antoniou, Mihalis Katrinis, Odysseas Konstantinopoulos, Giannis Amoiridis and more.
