“Nervous breakdown” in the Hellenic Police for Paleokostas

Fugitive Vasilis Paleokostas is the No1 wanted man by the Hellenic Police. After the announcement that his fingerprint was found in the trapped envelope addressed to the former Citizen Protection minister M. Hrisohoidis that killed his adjutant Giorgos Vasilakis came the bounty to seal the sudden obsession of the H.P. for fantômas…

So, even if 8 months have passed since the deadly explosion at the building in Katehaki, Paleokostas’ file is dusted again and hundreds of officers are on the hunt for him.

Highly reliable information report that maps have been spread at the headquarters of H.P. and the places he is reported as seen are marked in red thus creating an imaginary with all the places the villain is supposed to have passed from.

«Last spot seems to be the Stilida area where he possibly stole a car. But there is no specific testimony to shed light in the investigation. We are hoping to gather information that will lead to his arrest through the phones we have given out» says an officer at protothema.gr.

The blocks and Paleokostas’ team

The officers’ estimations from the counterterrorism and police force units say that Vasilis Paleokostas, unlike his brother, is no moving on his own but has a whole support team following him. This is why in his meeting with the officers on Sunday noon in Viotia the stolen Audi was driven by an Albanian accomplice.

«We are looking into a series of robberies in northwestern Greece with hundreds of thousands of euros in pillage to see if there is any connection with the Paleokostas’ team. We want to find out if he has connections with people from the antiauthoritarian circles» says an officer dealing with the case.

Other realiable sources say that blocks have been set from Arta to Chalkidiki in an attempt to trap the notorious fantômas.

It’s worth stressing that many questions arise from the involvement of an idealist robber that had not so far dipped his hands in blood, with cruel terrorist acts. In fact, the questions increase as the H.P. announcements delayed 8 months even if as everything points out they knew about this from the first month.
