The winter weather insists

The winter weather is still here today Friday but the phenomena will weaken in the afternoon. Central and north will see rain and sporadic storms and snow will fall on the mountains. The winds will be stormy and at the eastern Seas will reach 8-9B but will weaken too in the afternoon.

Overcast with rain and storm will occur in Attica and snow will fall on mountainous and semi-mountainous areas. Locally strong these phenomena will weaken in the afternoon and the
temperature will range between 3-9C, 2-3 degrees less in the north.

Local overcast, locally increased, will occur in Thessaloniki and the temperature will be between 0-8C.

In Central and West Macedonia and Thrace overcast with temporary snow or sleet will occur. Temperature will range from -5 to 9 and in the west it will reach 4C.

Local overcast with rain for Epirus, West Mainland, West Peloponnisos and the Ionian too. Temporary snowfall on mountainous and semi-mountainous regions mainly in the Mainland and Peloponnisos. Gradually the weather will improve and the temperature will range between 0-14C and -1 to 8 in Epirus.

In Thessaly, East Mainland, Evia and East Peloponnisos there will be overcast and storms and snow on the mountains. It will be more intense in East Peloponnisos, East Mainland and Evia but will improve from midday. Winds will blow from the north at 6-8 and locally 9B. Temperature will range between -2 and 9C.

Rain and storms are expected for Crete and the Cyclades. The weather will more intense in the north Cyclades but will quickly improve. Temporary snowfall in the mountains of Crete. Winds will be north-northeastern 6-8 and temporarily 9B. temperature at 8-13C.

Local overcast, rain and storms will occur in the East Aegean and the Dodecanese and will be more intense from Chios and to the south. The winds will be northeastern, 6-8B and southeastern in the south at 6-8B. The phenomena will weaken in the afternoon and the temperature will be between 8-14, 3-4 degrees less in the north.
