Folli-Follie΄s network in Japan suffers minor damages

Folli-Follie said that one of its stores was completely destroyed by the devastating earthquake and the tsunami that followed in Japan, while three more stores suffered minor damage.

“Our human capital and their families are all safe”, said the company in a statement.

“Our offices were fully functioning from the very next day. We strongly believe that Japanese people will surpass the difficulties that this earthquake has brought upon them and come out even stronger than before, as they have always mastered control, discipline, hard work and solidarity”, said Folli-Follie.

"Our prayers and thoughts are with the people of Japan", it concluded.

The group operates an 81 store network in Japan. The country is expected to account for 13.5% of the FY10e FF core sales and some 5.4% of the FY10e group ones, according to a Proton Research report.
