About 250 immigrants in Greece have ended their six-week hunger strike after reaching a compromise with the government.
Supporters of the hungers strikers said it ended Wednesday following a meeting with government ministers, who granted the mostly North African protesters temporary residence permits.
More than 100 of the protesters have been hospitalized since the hunger strike started January 25.
