Few protesters entered a hall of the European Parliament where an event for the Battle of Marathon was being held on Thursday.
There were the Minister of Culture Pavlos Yeroulanos, the former Minister for Rural Development Katerina Batzeli and several Greek MEPs.
The demonstrators were hoisted banners which called the EU, the IMF and the Greek Government 'barbarians'.
