Prime minister and ruling Pasok leader George Papandreou, who is also president of the Socialist International (SI), will on Tuesday afternoon address a three-day meeting of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats of the European Parliament that began in Athens on Monday.
Earlier, Papandreou and the head of the Alliance, Martin Schulz, will hold a press conference at the central Athens hotel where the meeting is taking place.
