results go in their favour if they are to survive in the Super League after being beaten 1-0 by PAOK on Sunday.
The results of the 28th round of games mean that after Panserraikos, who have already been relegated but managed to beat Panathinaikos, Larissa, Asteras Tripolis, Kerkyra and Atromitos are in a scrap to avoid being the other two teams that go down.
Larissa have 25 points after their 1-0 defeat in Thessaloniki. Stefanos Athanasiadis scored the goal in the 69th minute.
Asteras have 28 points after a 2-1 home defeat to 10-man Aris. Things seemed to be going well for the home side when Daniel Orozco opened the score on 35 minutes. Nery Castillo was sent off for Aris just five minutes later.
However, the Tripoli side were not able to hold on until half time and Sergio Koke equalised from the spot on 44 minutes. Nikos Lazaridis scored the visitors' second on 65 minutes and Asteras's misery was compounded in the final minute when Adrian Bastia saw his penalty saved.
Aris are in sixth on 39 points, with an outside chance of making the Champions League play offs.
Kerkyra are back in the danger zone on 30 points after also being beaten 2-1 at home by Panionios, who secured their Super League safety with the result.
Kostas Mitroglou, who has been vital to Panionios's improved performances since January, opened the score on the half-hour mark but things took a turn for the worse for the visitors in the 63rd minute when Suleiman Omo conceded a penalty and was shown the red card. Denis Epstein equalised from the spot for Kerkyra.
But Panionios were not done and Dimitris Siovas popped up with 10 minutes to go to grab the goal that secured their survival.
Cup finalists Atromitos are also on 30 points after losing 1-0 to AEK in a dress rehearsal of the upcoming final. Roger Guerrero scored the only goal after 33 minutes. Marcelo Sarmiento was sent off for the visitors seven minutes before the final whistle.
Larissa face AEK (home) and Olympiakos (away) in their final two games. Asteras Tripolis will be pitted against Panathinaikos (away) and Panionios (home), Kerkyra plays Ergotelis (home) and Atromitos has Olympiakos (home) and Kavala (home).
In Sunday's other games, champions Olympiakos cruised to their 14th home win from 14 games by beating Kavala 3-1. After a quiet first half, David Fuster opened the score on 58 minutes.
Marius Nicolae equalised five minutes later but the visitors' relief was shortlived as Raffik Djebbour and Kevin Mirallas scored in the next four minutes to win the game for the Reds.
If Ernesto Valverde's men win their last home game against Larissa, they will set a new club record, going through the whole season with only wins in their home games.
The defeat leaves Kavala on 38 points and their hopes of making the Champions League play offs have evaporated.
Sunday's victory means that Olympiakos has 70 points, 13 more than Panathinaikos whose form appears to be going from bad to worse.
The Greens lost 1-0 at bottom side Panserraikos. Giorgos Georgiadis scored the goal just before half time.
Olympiakos Volou strengthened their shout for a Champions League play off place with a 3-0 home thrashing of indifferent Xanthi. Papa Sankare, Ilias Solakis and Javier Tomas scored the goals.
The Volos side now has 44 points and one more win would guarantee that play off spot.
On Crete, Ergotelis beat Iraklis 1-0 with a Mario Himblinger goal that moved the home side onto 36 points. Iraklis remain 33 points.
