Coach Zeljko Obradovic was happy to see Panathinaikos captain Dimitris Diamantidis have a full practice session on Thursday ahead of the start of the Euroleague Final-Four in Barcelona on Friday.
Diamantidis missed some training this week due to gastroenteritis, but is now fit for the first semifinal against Siena at the Palau San Jordi in the Catalan capital.
Panathinaikos are considered the favourites in the semi, if not overall in the Final-Four, having eliminated holders Barcelona in the quarterfinal play-offs.
"If we do believe we are the favourites, that may well turn against us," said experienced forward Costas Tsartsaris.
"Siena will play tough defence and we need to play tough, too, if we want to have a any chances of qualifying to the final," he added.
The Panathinaikos vs Siena match tips off at 7 p.m. Greek time and is live on NET, just like the rest of the Final-Four.
