PAME group hold protest rally in Athens - video























The Communist Party of Greece-affiliated labour group PAME held a rally in Omonia Square in downtown Athens on Saturday to prorest against austerity measures.



Communist Party (KKE) leader Aleka Papariga was present at the rally.The matter of overthrowing the power of the monopolies, is in the frontline, she stated.


 The rally was followed by a protest march to the House of Parliament, attended by 5000 people. Slogans were sprayed on the walls of the  Hellenic Federation of Enterprises building. 




The General Confederation of Workers of Greece (GSEE) and the Civil Servants Supreme Administrative Council (ADEDY) have announced they will participate in a rally in Omonia square next Saturday, June 5.
