PAOK announced on Thursday the end of their cooperation with manager Makis Havos, following the end of the Super League play-offs.
The Thessaloniki club suggested they would not renew the Greek's contract, even though his spell at the PAOK bench was relatively successful given his limited experience after taking over as a caretaking coach in autumn.
PAOK thanked Havos for his contribution to the club this season and wished him luck for the rest of his career.
Unconfirmed reports suggest Havos is close to getting hired by Asteras Tripolis, where he worked as an assistant coach in 2008-09.
PAOK are now going to look for a foreign coach of a certain calibre but no names have yet emerged as candidates.
The club is also bidding farewell to Bosnian striker Zlatan Muslimovic, who played his last game with PAOK on Wednesday against Olympiakos Volou and even scored one of the team's goals.
Upon celebrating his goal, Muslimovic revealed a jersey under his shirt that read "Once PAOK, always PAOK".
Also on Thursday Larissa confirmed the hiring of Chris Coleman, the former manager of Fulham, Real Sociedad and Coventry.
