Chilean mine disaster survivors in Greece

At Acropolis Museum

The 33 Chilean miners who survived after their mine collapsed last year are visiting Greece at the invitation of a local mining company.

Greece's culture ministry said the 33 men, accompanied by family and friends, have toured the Acropolis Museum in Athens and attended a lunch hosted by the culture minister, Pavlos Geroulanos.
The workers spent 69 days trapped half a mile underground in a collapsed gold and copper mine. They were pulled out of the mine by a rescue capsule in October.
The men were due to travel to Crete later Wednesday.
