In a letter sent Friday to all MPs, New Democracy lawmaker Kyriakos Mitsotakis proposed three changres:
Firstly that the number of MPs be reduced to 200 from 300, secondly the abolition of a parliamentary pension (in addition to the pension MPs get from their professional fund) and thirdly the abolition of the additional payments given to deputies who head parliamentary committees.
