The final of the 'Greek Idol' took place on Saturday. The final two contestants were Malu Kyriakopoulou and Panayotis Tsakalakos. Both contestants gave amazing performances last night and Panayotis Tsakalakos was crowned the winner.
Panayotis Tsakalakos was born in New York to Greek parents. From an early age, he began writing songs and singing. He completed his studies in the New York/ New Jersey area, (Bachelor in Music at Rutgers University and Masters in Music Composition at S.U.N.Y Purchase College).
As of 2008, he lives and works in Athens.
